3 Reasons You Should Invest in a Burst Toothbrush

3 Reasons You Should Invest in a Burst Toothbrush , burst promo code, burst review

If you’ve been researching electric toothbrushes lately, you’ve probably seen the Burst toothbrush. It touts several oral health benefits and has thousands of positive reviews, but it’s difficult to know who to trust these days. As a registered dental hygienist with a passion for teaching others how to achieve the best oral health possible, I’m impressed by the Burst sonic toothbrush, and there are several reasons why I feel it’s a worthwhile investment.

Bristles Matter

When selecting a toothbrush, you probably base your decision on whether or not the bristles are hard or soft, but I bet you’ve never thought about the shape of those bristles. Most toothbrush bristles are made from nylon or polyester. Nylon is great, but it absorbs water, which can compromise the shape. Polyester compounds are more sturdy, but sometimes they lack softness. Burst Oral Care solved that problem by using bristles that are so finely tapered that they retain their strength and can reach underneath the gum line and in between teeth to provide a thorough cleansing experience while also being extremely gentle.

The Truth About Charcoal

Aside from their softness, the Burst bristles have the added bonus of being infused with Binchotan charcoal. Activated charcoal is so popular in teeth whitening products that you’ll find over 1,000 options if you look for it on Amazon.com. You may wonder why it matters if the charcoal is in your toothpaste or in your toothbrush. Let me explain. Activated charcoal is abrasive, and while you may want to scrub away plaque and discoloration, the size of the carbon particles greatly impacts your long-term oral health. The Burst toothbrush head is infused with charcoal nanoparticles (think teeny tiny). Charcoal whitens, no matter what size the particles are, but the bigger they are, the more damage they can cause. In fact, some products can strip the enamel from your teeth and expose the dentin underneath, which can make them more sensitive and even more discolored.

Customizable Modes = Comfort

Just like any other health regimen, you have to meet your body where it is each and every day. Sometimes, it’s stiff and sore, so you need to adapt your exercise routine accordingly. Your gums may not always be ready for a rigorous brushing, but you still need to get the job done. To avoid damaging your gums, the Burst brush has three different cleaning modes. When you power up your toothbrush in the morning, you can switch from the standard whitening mode to either the sensitive or massage mode. Each option allows you to brush effectively without pain, and you can even switch from one mode to another if you decide to do so.

Unlike other electric toothbrushes on the market, Burst’s vibrations range from 31,000 (for sensitive teeth) to 33,000 vibrations. And since the massage mode pulses at a lower rate than the other modes, you’ll improve your gum health by stimulating blood flow and bringing more oxygen to the area.

Overall, the Burst toothbrush performs beautifully and makes taking care of your teeth more pleasant. If you have questions about the Burst brush or would like to see me using mine, check out my review and video here. Feel free to reach out to me as well if you have questions. I’m here to help!
